A few interesting things Price Chopper has done over the years
Did you know that Price Chopper has done lots of innovative things in the world of supermarkets over the years? That's one of the things that has helped them stick around for so long. Let's talk about a few things they've done!
They were one of the first stores that turned a regular supermarket into a superstore and added pharmacy units. That made it more convenient for shoppers to get everything done at one place.
They also began opening for 24 hours a day, so you can always buy anything you need!
In the same line, they added tons of new features in the 1980s that weren't common back then - including meat and seafood counters, bakery sections, and banks.
In the eary 1990s, they jumped on the trend for having ready to go meals and food courts in their stores.
