Theyve even produced two movies aimed at family audiences that included proomotion of their products. The origins of WALMART
Walmart was founded by Sam Walton in 1962. Today, they have over 11,000 stores in 28 countries, some of which are subsidiares run under different names like ASDA (U.K.), Best Price (India) and Seiyu (Japan). Walmarts headquarters are in Bentonville, Arkansas. Its the largest public coporation in the world ranked by revenue, and the 18th overall. Walmart employes over 2.2 million people worldwide at its stores and its the largest private employer in the United States.
