The history of Bose
Bose was founded by a man named Amar Bose in 1964. Since then, its grown to become one of the best-known technological brands on the planet, especially for their audio products. Theyre known for their high quality, which is in part thanks to Boses training at MIT. Disappointed with a stereo system he purchased, he set out to make one better - and he did!
All the research thats behind Bose

Founder Amar Bose went to MIT, and after buying a disappointing stereo set out to find out everything about the audio world. His first step was to figure out the factors that made regular stereos weak. One big one was that they didnt take into account the space the sound would be played in (like somebodys home) and what impact that would have on the sound.
He also researched psychoacoustics, or how people perceive sound psychologically to figure out what was really important to the listener.
