The history of GapKids
GapKids debuted in 1986 as a way to cater to their baby boomer customers, who had started having children of their own. The concept took off and was a huge success. Today, there are over 3,700 Gap locations worldwide, around 2,400 of which are located in the United States.

One of those is Kate Spade, who created a line of childrens clothing inspired by their brands Kate Spade New York and Jack Spade. The collection went on sale in 2014 and was only available for 2 weeks! The clothes were created with the holidays in mind, based around a story of a brother and sisters magical adventure to get to grandmothers house for the holidays.
