It's actually the fifth biggest seller of wine in the country. Some locations also have cigar humidors, plus delis and bakeries. You can buy sandwiches that are made right then and there to enjoy with your wine, beer, or liquor.

Spec's was founded in 1962 by Carroll B. Jackson and Carolynn Jackson. The stores' names come from Carroll's nickname - Spec, which was after the glasses he wore. Today, there are more than 165 Spec's store locations.
