If you'd like to save some money on your next grocery purchase at Rainbow Foods, make sure to check out their weekly ad specials, which you can see here on Tiendeo or at their official website, rainbowfoods.com. They also provide Rainbow Foods coupons. And of course, you can always add them to your favorite stores here on Tiendeo.us so you can find all the Rainbow Foods coupons in one place.
The history of Rainbow
Sid Applebaum and D.B. Reinhert founded Rainbow in 1983, and they quickly managed to make it the second-biggest grocery store in the area. In 1994, it was sold to Fleming Foods, a wholesaler based in Texas. In 2003, Rainbow Foods was sold yet again, this time to Roundy's, which is based in Milwaukee.
Roundy's sold 18 of the Rainbow stores, 12 of which became other brands while six remained as Rainbow. Today, there are four Rainbow Foods locations in Minnesota.
Rainbow Foods helps you figure out what to do with your groceries you buy there
Grocery shopping can be a little bit haphazard if you're not sure what kinds of recipes you're going to make with the ingredients you buy at the store. For lots of shoppers, it's easier just not to bother and buy freezer meals. But with the Rainbow Foods blog, they make it easy for you to come up with tasty meal ideas!
The blog, which is on their official website (rainbowfoods.com), has a ton of different recipe ideas, like a Simple Gourmet grilled cheese sandwich, Brown Sugar Glazed Sockeye Salmon, 3-Bean Chili, and more. Every once in a while a more unusual recipe like Almond Chicken Curry will show up as well.
You can search their recipes one of four ways. You can search by ingredient, by occasion, by meal, or even by technique (like baking or pan searing).
