Pink, which is often written PINK, is a line by Victoria's Secret that's its sweeter, softer little sister. While Victoria's Secret is all about brazen sex appeal, Pink's pajamas, sweats, and undies are relaxed and laid-back while still being pretty and feminine. The brand is popular amongst teens and college students, and they also have a line of clothes that are branded with specific colleges' logos and mascots.

The history of Pink

Pink was launched in 2002, as the little sister line to Victoria's Secret. The collection is aimed at the 15-22 year old crowd with apparel options that are age appropriate but still fun and cute. In 2006, their sweat pants were one of the most popular items for teens to wear in the United States. 

In 2009, Pink expanded to Canada with four totally separate Pink stores (as in, that they weren't part of a Victoria's Secret shop). The following year, they reached $1 billion in sales. Today, the brand is an important part of the Victoria's Secret stores. 

Victoria's Secret is joined by Pink on the runway

One of the highlights of the year for any Victoria's Secret fan is the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. In 2006, Pink joined its big sister brand on the catwalk for a special collection. The following year, they held a special contest, "Pink Road Trip to the Runway" to try and find the next Pink spokesmodel. The contest was presented at an event by Victoria's Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, and Jessica Stam. The lucky model they chose was Katie Wile, who walked in that year's show. 

Each year, Pink has a spokesmodel for the brand. The first one was Brazil's Alessandra Ambrosio, followed by Miranda Kerr from Australia, Behati Prinsloo from Namibia, Elsa Hosk from Sweden, Rachel Hilbert from the U.S, and Zuri Tibby, also from the U.S. 

When the fashion show is on, Pink sponsors viewing parties to get people excited about the upcoming trends that are going to come to their stores soon.
