The history of Nine West
Nine West was founded in 1983, and was named after the location its first store opened at (9 West 57th Street, which is located in New York City). It started out as a fashion footwear brand, but over the years they started expanding their offerings to include a wide range of accessories. It was acquired by the Jones Apparel Group in 1999, which is now called Nine West Holdings.
