The history of Lucky Brand
Lucky Brand was founded in 1990 by Barry Perlman and Gene Montesano in Vernon, California. The two had owned a denim shop in the 1970s in Florida that was called Four Way Street, where they sold jeans they'd bleached themselves at the local laundromat. They partnered up again in 1990 for the denim brand that would make them famous, after Gene had spent 15 years working in the fashion business in Los Angeles. Today, there are around 150 Lucky Brand locations.
What makes Lucky Brand jeans different?
Just about everybody wants a great pair of jeans that's flattering, comfortable, and makes them feel great. There are also tons of brands out there trying to convince you that their jeans are the best! But Lucky jeans have quite a few things that make them stand out from the pack of denim retailers.
