Kids Foot Locker is part of the Foot Locker brand, which was founded in 1974. It grew out of a subsidiary of the F.W. Woolworth Company when it purchased the Kinney Shoe Corporation. Today, there are over 3,500 Foot Locker stores, many of which have a Kids Foot Locker department as well.
Professional football player Rob Gronkowski has fun with Kids Foot Locker
Foot Locker ads often feature famous athletes, and the same goes for Kids Foot Locker. Just because the shoes sold here smaller doesn't mean they go smaller for the ads, too!
One of the most popular ads in recent years featured Rob Gronkowski, a tight end for the New England Patriots. At 6'6" and 265 pounds, he looks a little bit out of place amongst all the kids' shoes at Kids Foot Locker!
The ad goes like this: Gronkowski is in a Kids Foot Locker store signing autographs for fans, but he says he can't spend more time with the kids. "Sorry, guys," he says, "I'm a grown up. I gotta do grown up stuff."
So what is grown up stuff? The ad them shows him drinking chocolate milk, eating lots of pizza, and playing video games. He only gets up from the couch to chase the ice cream truck down the street!
