All about Johnny Rockets

Johnny Rockets is a chain of diners that has a fun twist - 1950s inspired retro styling! That means lots of vintage Coca Cola ads, jukeboxes that you can pick the songs on, shiny silver and bright red accents, and cardboard cutouts of women from WWII days. Their menu is also a big draw for customers. They serve grilled ot order hamburgers that come wrapped in paper just like they would have back in the old days. They also have sandwiches like Philly cheesestakes, salads, floats and shakes, appetizers, kids' meals, and more!

Their waiters at some locations sing and dance every 30 minutes! That's not at every location. But something that is is that they draw a smiley face with ketchup on the plates the French fries are served on.

The menu and concept was inspired by a restaurant in L.A. called The Apple Pan from 1947. It's still open today! The idea was also to re-create the vintage malt shops the founder, Ronn Teitelbaum, enjoyed when he was a kid.

They were featured on an episode of Undercover Boss in 2009!
