Five Below gives back to charity
Did you know that Five Below has a strong background of giving to charity and helping out good causes? The low-priced variety store has a few different ways that they give back.
First of all, they run a program called "FUNdraising". This lets stores pair up with groups in their local area. The groups can invite people to shop at a certain time. All the sales made in this time will have 10% given to the group. Not a bad way to raise money, right? It's a win for the store and a win for the groups.
Five Below also partners with different philanthrophic organizations over the country, and have contributed over $1 million to good causes. One of those is Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which they've raised $300,000 for.
They've also worked with St. Jude Children's Resedrach Hospital on their yearly Halloween promotion project, and hte American Red Cross when Superstorm Sandy hit.
