The history of Cycle Gear
Cycle Gear was founded in 1974 in Richmond, California. Today, it's owned by the J.W. Childs Associates prviate equity firm and its CEO is Dave Bertram. They have in-house brands that include Seven Zero Seven, BiLT, and Sedici. They used to have a brand called Frank Thomas in their stores, too. There are 115 Cycle Gear store lcoations spread out across 38 different states.
