Century 21 is a department store that you'll find in the northeastern United States.
All about Century 21
Century 21 is a small chain of department stores that you'll find in just three states - but their stores are popular in those three states! You can do a one stop shop at your local Century 21 location if you're in one of these states. They have clothes for men, women, and children, as well as shoes, accessories, and more. And that's just the apparel section; you can also find home goods, tech stuff, gifts, and more at any of their stores.
Do you love shopping at Century 21? Then you may want to consider joining the C21 Status Rewards program, which gives you points every time you go shopping at the store and use your card. You can become either a Premiere member or an Elite member if you spend a certain amount at their stores per year. Don't forget to add Century 21 to your favorites here on Tiendeo either!
The history of Century 21
Century 21 is a relatively new addition to the department store scene. The first location was opened in 1961 by Sonny, Ralph, and Al Gindi in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It was an entirely New York operation unil 2014, when they opened their first non-New York stoer in Philadelphia.
Today, they have a flagship location in Lower Manhattan and their COO is Raymond Gindi, founder Al's son. The company's CEO is Isaac Gindi, Sonny's son.
Century 21 offers a stylist service at their stores - for free!
Can't decide what looks best on you when you go shopping? Well, if you go shopping at Century 21, you can now get an expert opinion to make sure you're looking stylish. They offer personal stylist sessions at select Century 21 locations.
Here's how it works. You book an appointment on their webiste, c21stores.com, and then when your appointment rolls around, the stylist will give you wardrobe advice, plus tips about where to find the best deals and events.
They offer special appointments, like "The In and Out", designed for people who have an emergency, like having an airline lose their luggage, or the "The Stylist", a full 2-hour experience.
Currently, the service is only available at their Lincoln Square, Downtown, and Philadelphia locations - but with the store having plans to expand, maybe it will be available at more stores soon!
