The history of Art Van
The first Art Van store was opened in 1958 by Art Van Eslander, and was located in East Detroit. Within a year, he'd expanded to three locations! Today, the stores are run by CEO Kim Yost and they employ over 4,000 people. There are 37 Art Van store locations in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.
