Things you probably didn't know about Giorgio Armani

Armani is a very well known and respected name in the fashion industry. Even if you're not too much of a fashion buff, you've probably heard of this Italian designer's name. So, here are some fun facts you might not have known about him!

Did you know that he's credited with the trendy bomber jacket? He designed a series of bomber jackets in the 1970s that were made out of leather.

He's worth somewhere in the range of $6.5 billion! And his success in fashion is partly due to his work history before he estabilshed his own brand; he worked with a top department store in Milan and also did freelance work for clients like Loewe, Cerruti, and Zegna.

His favorite sports team is Inter Milan, followed by Chelsea in the U.K. Premiere League. He actually designed their suits!

He originally wanted to be a doctor, considered military service, and only then ended up in fashion.
