You can get some great deals at Eastbay, and there are lots of different ways to do it. Don't forget to shop the sale section, either! You can even sign up to be a member for a small fee and get access to exclusive offers and discounts.
The history of Eastbay
Richard Gering and Art Juedes started Eastbay in 1980, but the original idea was just to sell shoes. They set up a series of shoe clinics with a stock of about $7,000 in shoes. At each clinic, they showed up with their shoes and a price list. In 1983, things shifted in the direction of the store it is today when they started selling a special catalog of baseball and track and field shoes.
By 1990, they had a large operation with a call center, shipping department, and creative department. This year, they started their own line of sporty clothing. Today, there are over 3,000 people employed by Eastbay.
Eastbay promises their shoes and apparel will always fit
If you buy Eastbay shoes or clothes, you can rest assured that you won't get stuck with a size that doesn't fit you. This is often an issue when you buy things online but aren't quite sure of what size to get. Luckily, Eastbay comes with a "Fit Promise Guarantee."
What does this mean? It's simple: they offer free exchanges for different sizes so that you can get exactly the right fit. It's a smart policy, as fit is really important when you're playing sports. You definitely don't want to have running shoes that are too tight!
The only requirement is that the items you want to exchange are "in clean, unmodified condition" and within 90 days of when you bought them. Then, you just fill out a quick form that shipped with your order, attach a label they also sent, and mail it back.
