Something you might be interested in about Booking ...
Booking is a website to find and book accommodation for your travels.
All about Booking
Booking, often referred to as Booking.com, is an online site where you can book accommodation from around the world. It's perfect if you're going on vacation, traveling for working, or going to visit family. With over a million different properties under contract with the site, they have a huge range of options for you to choose from. They say they get reservations for over 900,000 nights in a room every single day!
Booking.com has lots of ways that you can save on your stay, wherever it is that you're going. Check their website, www.booking.com, where they have a section labelled "Find Deals". You can also sort the accommodation options it shows you by rating or by price to make sure that you're getting the most bang for your buck when you travel. If you subscribe and become a member, you'll get access to even more deals! And to round it out, don't forget to add them to your favorite stores here on Tiendeo.us either.
The history of Booking
When Booking was founded in 1997 in the Netherlands, it was a bit unusual. They couldn't even post an ad in the biggest newspaper in the country, as the paper would only accept ads that listed a phone number. A website wasn't good enough. Today, it's one of the biggest and best-known brands in the travel industry.
Booking has lots and lots of apps
If you love always having the latest apps on your phone, then you might want to look into downloading some from Booking! They have lots of apps that can help their fans save money and get the accommodation they need.
The first app they launched was in 2010, and was designed for iPads to help people book hotels and other forms of lodging. The Android version followed a few months later, in 2011.
The following year, in 2012, they released an app called "Booking.com Tonight". This app was designed to help people find a room for the very same night. The same year, they released an app for Windows that let people book directly from the Windows platform, and became part of the Passbook feature in iPhone.
In 2012, they became available for Kindle Fire and on the Amazon Appstore in all of the countries it operates in.
