Stop kidding. We know you want at least one gingerbread cookie this Christmas. So, just in case your friends and family don’t take the hint, we’re going to give you everything you need to make your own. No excuses. Here are the recipes that we collected, so enjoy! All of them are quick and easy for the whole family.
Death to cupcakes!
First step: ingredients
? 350 g. flour
? 100 g. brown sugar
? 125 g. butter
? 1 egg
☄️ 1 small scoop of cinnamon powder
☄️ 1 small scoop of ginger powder
☄️ 1 small scoop of yeast
? ½ cup of honey (or to taste)
Second step: how are they made?
Melt butter for a few seconds. Then mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, yeast, honey and the beaten egg. Add flour and a little salt. This will create a dough that must be left to stand in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Now you only have to cut the cookies with the cutest cookie-cutters you have and decorate them, right down to the smallest detail. Get in touch with your creative side! Pre-heat the oven to 180 º, and bake our yummy little friends for around 10-15 minutes. Remember to let them cool (try to fight the urge to eat them straight from the oven) et voilà.
But now comes the magic touch: four scoops of exquisite decoration inspiration . Since this season is about giving, you can personlise each of them and give a truly unique gift of love with each one you dish out. ??
Scoop #1. Homemade, but with lots and lots of love
Scoop #2 – Cute and minimalist (so minimalist in fact, you’ll need at least one magnifying glass? or two ?? …still adorable). Mini cookies, jewellery made from cookies, an unparalleled finishing touch for a cocktail or for the coffee / tea moment. Wow …!
Scoop #3 *sigh*
Scoop #4. “I’m not like everyone else, you know, and I’m proud of it”
(careful, they may bite)
Now get baking. Gobble up this post with some cookies on the side! Bon appetit! ?
